I like to think that everyone’s
time at The Griffin is as relaxing as staying in someone’s
home. The ethos behind Eat Drink Sleep is simple things done
well. The rooms are chintz-free with white bed linen and beds
so comfortable that a number of our guests have offered to
buy them.
As a trained chef I am passionate about
using seasonal and where possible, local ingredients. The
Griffin's head chef, Ricardo
van Ede, shares
my belief and produces simple but unfussy food. Our principles
were recognised last year when we won AA Restaurant of the
Year for Wales 2003.
