London
To get to The
Griffin from London and the M4
(Approx. 3 Hrs from London):
Follow M4 to Newport, junction 24. Take
the A449 (dual-carriageway), signed to Monmouth, as far as
Raglan.
Take the A40 to Abergavenny, (more dual-carriageway).
Continue on the A40 as far as Brecon. When you arrive at a
short stretch of dual carriageway... you are approaching the
Brecon bypass...take the third exit of the first roundabout
and the A470 towards Builth Wells, Hereford and Hay on Wye.
We are about four
miles further on at the bottom of a hill on your left.

The
North (and Midlands)
To
get to The Griffin from the North or the Midlands
(just under an hour from Worcester):
From Junction 7 of the M5 (Worcester South) turn right...Follow
the ring road, crossing a number of roundabouts and head for
Hereford along A4103.
Through Hereford... and
follow signs out of town towards Brecon and Hay on Wye on
A438.
Turn left at Willersly, still on the A438, and still heading
for Hay and Brecon
(don't take the first turning to Hay).
After Glasbury
bridge, Turn right at the T junction heading for Brecon. We
are about seven miles from the Glasbury junction on your right.
If you come to a roundabout at Brecon, you've gone too far.

Cardiff
To get to The
Griffin from Cardiff M4 junction 32
( about eighty minutes from the city centre):
Fron junction
32 of the M4 take the A470
past Merthyr Tydfil and keep heading for Brecon. Just before
brecon take the last exit of the first roundabout onto the
Brecon bypass. After 2 miles go straight over the next roundabout
taking the A470 towards Hay on Wye, Builth Wells and Hereford.
We are about
four miles further on at the bottom
of a hill on your left.
